About the client

Client challenges
The client lacked the expertise to set up Salesforce Billing for internal financial accounting and invoice lifecycle management as they were starting their new business. They required access to real-time information about field service work orders and inventory, to avoid delays.
Solution
- LevelShift leveraged the Vehicle Asset profile within Automotive Cloud to associate service Work Order and subscription services, along with OmniStudio for invoice generation. We connected the Field Service Work Order Connector with the Sales Cloud Order object to streamline invoice creation and manage labor and/or parts-only inventory.
- We implemented Salesforce Billing for Finance Books, GL accounts, and revenue recognition rules. We also handled the creation and collection of invoices and the management of the invoice lifecycle.
