About the client
The client is the world’s largest tire manufacturer, with a global footprint and a vast partner network that serves as the primary channel for bringing its products to market. The organization depends on reliable, real-time data from across its partner ecosystem to drive effective inventory planning, sales forecasting, and strategic decision-making. Managing partner performance at this scale demands a modern, unified data platform capable of handling diverse data sources and delivering consistent, actionable insights.
Client challenges
The client’s partner network generated sales data across eight different, incompatible formats, making standardization and analysis at scale a significant operational challenge. Without a central data system, reporting cycles were slow and heavily manual, causing delays in inventory planning and business review processes. Leadership lacked access to real-time insights and advanced dashboards, limiting the organization’s ability to respond quickly to partner performance trends and changing market conditions. The absence of a governed data foundation also meant there was no single, trusted source of truth for partner information across the business.
Solution
We partnered with the client to design and implement a solution aligned with their preferred data platforms, Databricks and Azure. By unifying fragmented partner data into a governed, analytics-ready ecosystem, we enabled real-time insights and self-service reporting across the organization. The implementation was phased strategically to minimize operational disruption while delivering measurable business value at every stage.
- Integrated and Standardized Partner Data using Azure Logic Apps to consolidate sales inputs from eight disparate partner formats into a single, structured and automated data pipeline.
- Built a 3-Layer Medallion Architecture on Azure Databricks, comprising Bronze (raw data ingestion), Silver (curated and cleansed data), and Gold (value-case-driven data for reporting), ensuring clean, reliable, and structured information across the platform.
- Developed a Central Data Dictionary cataloging all available data sources, strengthening data governance and establishing consistent definitions across the partner network.
- Delivered Advanced KPI Dashboards in the Partner Portal using Power BI, providing business users with real-time visibility into partner performance, inventory, and sales metrics.
