About the client
Founded in 1937 to support children affected by conflict, the client is a global nonprofit that has grown into one of the world’s most prominent organizations championing girls’ rights. With programs spanning youth empowerment, education, health, protection, and emergency response, their mission-driven work required a modern system to streamline internal operations and efficiently scale their impact.
Client challenges
- Disconnected systems: Financial processes were spread across multiple systems, making oversight and reporting difficult.
- Manual tracking: The timesheet and leave processes were manual, time-consuming, and prone to errors.
- Limited integration: Accounting and operations were not well-connected, which slowed processes and added to the administrative burden.
- Complex cost tracking: The organization required custom solutions to accurately track projects and cost centers.

- Structured cost tracking: Projects, Programs, and Cost Centers were configured as dimensions in Business Central to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
