The client sought LevelShift’s help to streamline its Salesforce CPQ product offerings, increase quote velocity, and improve user experience.

Some of the specific challenges were: how best to leverage Advanced Approvals, Conga Sign implementation, pricing for bundled products, and out-of-the-box Salesforce approvals linked with the bundled products.

Solution

LevelShift implemented Salesforce CPQ with the following steps:

  • Installed Salesforce CPQ with Base Configuration, including setup of bundled and stand-alone products, standard price book, and configuration of quotes.
  • Set up Bundle Discounting to create a discount schedule for Gold program products.
  • Implemented Conga Composer CPQ Quote Template & and CLM Review.
  • Set up advanced approvals for specific products based on product details and Bronze Associate Program requirements.
  • Set up Order Generation that automates quote-to-order when an opportunity is closed and maps order creation from quote details.
  • Integrated Event Schedule into the CPQ quoting process.
  • Conducted review and testing to confirm if CPQ works with the current Inventory functionality.
